Originally a baroque style park with 150 hectares. Nice for walks on an extensive network of paths with old trees.

The park Karlsaue is a beautiful park in the middle of the city, as big as the Principality of Monaco. Of course not for cycling but walk. The Documenta is now in Kassel for 100 days. There are several outdoor works to admire there.
Kassel is always worth a trip

There are also sights worth seeing all around the Karlsaue. For example the gatehouses, like here at the Auedamm. Another goes to Heinrich-Heine-Straße.
