- Dean DChattanooga, TN170 contributionsI didn’t know anything about the Conrad family, or the mansion they built. Thanks to our tour guide, Cindy, I feel like I know them personally. The tour was exceptional! The house and grounds are beautiful. It’s as if the whole place has been frozen in time. If you go, you will not be disappointed.Written September 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Teri PColumbus, OH62 contributionsWe stopped here for a quick but enjoyable lunch at this beautiful lake. A cute little sandwich shop had good carry out things to eat at the picnic tables Perfect breakWritten July 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kevin BMount Juliet, TN2,327 contributionsWe came here back in August at the recommendation of our B&B host and we're very glad we came here as this is a great brewery and restaurant. The staff here were very kind and attentive and we had great service. The beer was very tasty and we got to try several of them, which is always fun. They had live music when we came and the duo was really talented, so it was a pleasure to listen to them. The food was also delicious and my wife enjoyed her chicken teriyaki bowl while I enjoyed my fish and chips. Their swag was nice as well and it was just a great place to have a meal, have some drinks, and relax after a fun day hiking. We'd definitely come back here!Written February 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DaveydeadeyeSaint Stephens Church, VA16 contributionsVery well kept park and trails were very easy to follow. Great views and great park rangers.
Clean bathrooms and nice visitor center.
The park ranger actually gave us his cell phone incase we needed his help.Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We didn't see the horses, but did see deer and bighorn sheep. I see a few other reviewers mentioned there's a bear, but the employee at the boat company said it had been following people so the decision was made to euthanize it in July 2022. I still brought my bear spray just in case.
A storm started picking up on our return trip and the boat ride back was a bit scary (especially since they didn't require or provide life jackets).Written August 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is remaining partial wood work in the interior, where there were formerly bookshelves and original wood panels were either removed or covered up, which is a shame. But it does have the blank walls necessary for exhibiting a variety of Items. There was a personal collection of late 1800s early 1900s travel prints and magazines, intricate Native American beadwork, a very interesting film on glacier national Park, independent artists paintings ( some on pieces of recovered wood or fabricated wood flooring )including artwork for sale. The gift shop also had interesting items.Written July 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- manaoPortland, Oregon14 contributionsThe museum has six thorough permanent exhibits (featuring everything from the roots of Kalispell to ecology, tribes, and early settlers of the Flathead Valley as well as regional industry and Glacier National Park) and two changing exhibit spaces. A bookstore/gift shop offers a wide range of Montana titles and wares. Apart from that, the place serves as a community center as it has for 130 years, drawing area residents and visitors for talks, performances, meetings, and other events. More than 70 volunteers keep the doors open and programs running, such as a monthly book club and movie night. Situated in the middle of Kalispell, the museum -- along with the Hockaday Museum of Art and the Conrad Mansion -- makes up the culture core of the Flathead Valley's biggest city.Written January 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CATTSARProvincetown, MA22,299 contributionsI love this park and serves as my green space while I'm here. While it is a park for all seasons I use it primarily in the winter for daily walks and exercise. In the summer the water park is a big attraction as well as pavilions for BBQ's and events and the open space is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities. There is a child's playground for little kids with slides, swings and climbing apparatus to keep them occupied. In the winter, the ponds are frozen over and used by skaters and hockey games. The hockey rink is in use as well for public skates as well as local games. Kalispell is amazing at keeping the walking paths plowed and the ponds groomed for skating.Written January 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - skbreck6Kalispell, MT16 contributionsWhile Montana has a host of scenic, clean lakes suitable for all water sports and fishing, lack of adequate public access has become a prevalent problem. For locals, the biggest problem has been the loss of the ability to enjoy them spontaneously as visitorship has increased greatly while few new public access areas have been added. Competing with out of the area users through the reservation system has only increased the problem.Written January 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - joanpvb2015Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida32 contributionsGreat spot for lunch or dinner. Food was very good, staff was excellent. Portions are very large. Comfortable seating in the porch. - steven fBerlin, WI19 contributionsNice, well marked trails for easy navigation to the scenic view spots. Modest elevation gain but definitely quicker on the way back down! I took the red and boundary loops for great views of the valley and lake. Ran into a few bikers but no issues. Would have given it 5 stars but so many rude dog owners don't follow the rules and let their dogs off leash to bother other dog owners who do follow the rules. Nice shaded shelter house with tables to picnic with a view of the lower valley. I'd certainly go back again.Written October 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
