It has already snowed in parts of Bavaria, and weather warnings apply in many regions on Saturday.

The DWD warning of ice in parts of Bavaria expired at 10 a.m.
However, the meteorologists continue to warn of light snowfall until the evening, and there is also a warning of frost for the following morning.

.: Nuremberg – meteorologists have also predicted snow in Bavaria for this weekend, flakes should fall in Franconia and the Upper Palatinate, for example.

The German Weather Service issued a warning of light snowfall for large parts of Bavaria.
It says: “During the warning period, there will be light snowfall with amounts between 1 cm and 5 cm.
It will spread smoothly.” Large parts of Middle Franconia are also affected by the weather warning – an overview.

Upper Palatinate and Franconia affected by snow warning
Parts of the Upper Palatinate (including Regensburg and Amberg-Sulzbach) as well as Upper Franconia (Bamberg) and Lower Franconia (Würzburg) are also affected by the snow warning.
It is valid until 6 p.m. on Saturday.
In some places, the DWD also warns of frost in the morning.

Smoothness: DWD warns in north-eastern Bavaria
In the north-east of Bavaria, the DWD warning map is colored orange, here there is an official warning of ice until 10 a.m.
Bayreuth, Tirschenreuth, Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge, Kulmbach, Hof, Kronach, Lichtenfels, Coburg and Rhön-Grabfeld are affected.
