JONATHAN AVIGDORI’S BIO:
Jonathan Avigdori is an American/ Israeli actor & filmmaker. Jonathan has started his entertainment career in New York, studying film at The School of Visual Arts. He moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and started to explore his acting skills in a variety of styles, including: film, improv, and theatre. He joined “Lee Strasberg Acting Institute” in 2002.
In 2005 Jonathan co-stared in Steven Spielberg’s action thriller “Munich”. Jonathan played the real-life character of Gad Tsabari, one of the only two athletes who managed to run away from the 1972 Israeli Olympic team massacre. From 2006-2015 Jonathan starred in major TV shows such as “The Unit”, “Entourage”, “24”, “DIG” & “Tyrant”. Jonathan performed a variety of characters such as Middle Eastern, Polish, Italian, American, Turkish, Arabic, Israeli and Russian.
2016 Jonathan was casted in the movie “Norman” alongside major Hollywood stars such as Dan Stevens, Richard Gere, Steve Buscemi & Michael Sheen. The movie was directed by Joseph Cedar. From 2016-2019 Jonathan has been guest staring in various shows such as “Elementary”, “The Blacklist”, “Seal Team”, “FBI”, and 3 seasons on FX’s hit show “Snowfall”.
Notable Work: Creator, writer, and co-director of the TV show America which won the North Fork TV Festival and The IndieFest Film Awards. Writer, director, and producer of the comedy film “The Rebound” which was nominated for best short film at the Hollywood film festival. Creator, writer, and director of the TV show Production Incorporated which won the Oscar & Bafta Qualifying Los Angeles International Film Festival.
