UFC 285 was one of the most anticipated Pay-per-view events of the year 2023. The buzz around it was amazing. Jon Jones was obviously the main attraction of the fight card as fans tuned in to see ‘Bones’ making his UFC comeback after three years. Jones is one of the biggest superstars in UFC history and took a hefty sum of $3 million for the fight.

He will also get a portion of the PPV later. Ciryl Gane, on the other hand, lost his second title shot and was definitely disappointed in his performance. A win could have helped him get a lot of money. However, after the unfortunate result, the fighter took home $500k.

Valentina Shevchenko earned around $1.2 million despite the shocking loss. Alexa Grasso took home around $400k for the title win. In future fights, she will receive PPV points due to his status as a champion.

UFC 285 Performance Bonuses

Jon Jones, Alexa Grasso, and Bo Nickal all three got an extra $50k bonus award for their impressive performances at UFC 285. Bo Nickal finally made his much anticipated UFC debut and won the fight via submission, for which he got a total of $80K, including a $50K bonus.

The defending UFC women’s flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, wanted to extend her legacy as one of the best female fighters of all time, but she failed to do so at UFC 285. Alexa Grasso just shocked the whole MMA world after submitting the reigning champion in the fourth round.

The Fight of the Night bonus award was given to Geoff Neal vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov for their outstanding fight that lasted three rounds and entertained the fans. Geoff Neal lost his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov and took home $101K. However, Rakhmonov, on the other hand, made $171K. Now that UFC 285, the next PPV, UFC 286 is not far away.
