I read that as Jon Lovitz for a second, lol.

At that point why doesn’t Crooked Media and Bulwark merge and become just another progressive platform.

While there is overlap, these shows capture different audiences. The pro-democracy coalition needs to message to both individually.

Agreed. They reach out to different segments of the population working to defeat trump and magats.

Because at the end of the day, a general level of political sanity, not liking Trump, and being pro-Democracy aren’t exactly the only qualities of progressivism

The Bulwark is a group of center-left to what used to be hard-conservative writers who dislike Trump and hate the MAGA turn the Republican Party has made

That’s not Progresivism, Progressives are generally for all those things as well, but there’s a lot more to them than that, that the Bulwark isn’t agreeing with them on

Exactly. I stopped listening to Crooked Media because they take so many things for granted and assume some things are completely ridiculous to believe but I know people with those sincere beliefs. I feel the bulwark does a good job of understanding why people on both sides of the spectrum have their opinions, even if they don’t agree with them

I agree with this, and also want to add that the Bulwark does a better job of bringing on a variety of guests and getting their views on a variety of issues. Crooked rarely bring guests and when they do it's usually democratic party politicians or very progressive activists of some sort. Apart from Offline with Jon Favreau that is, he brings on a decent variety. But aside from that, you almost always know what the guests are going to say before they say it, they rarely bring anything new or challenging. I learn way more from the Bulwark about how and why people I disagree with are thinking, and I appreciate that more than being told I'm right about everything all the time. One thing I find particularly irksome is crooked has spent 6 months now running down Israel for how they are handling Hamas and Gaza and making assertions we are clearly meant to take for granted that 'there has to be a better way', and 'there's no way to defeat Hamas so we better just make peace with them', but then have yet to bring on a military or COIN expert to explain the better way or why Hamas cannot be defeated like Al Qaeda or ISIS were.

Of the 3 PSA episodes a week there are guests on 2. And often it’s progressive politicians but in the past month or so they had Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger etc.

PSA is my #1 must listen pod along with The Bulwark. For sure they are left, not disagreeing. But they do have a lot of guests.

Actually, I would say those that have picked up the progressive mantle, your OurRevolution, your Justice Democrats, like Trump, because, you know, he's funny, he just is, but hate his policies (save protectionism, & in some cases abortion), while the antitrump Republicans & ex-Republicans hate Trump but like his policies (save protectionism, & in some cases abortion).
