Ravens HC John Harbaugh provides key update on C Tyler Linderbaum

The Baltimore Ravens selected center Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. The position was a bit of a question mark after the start of free agency, as Bradley Bozeman departed for the Carolina Panthers. However, Baltimore opted to pick one of the best center prospects to come out of college in years in Linderbaum, committing major draft capital into their line with the selection.

Linderbaum suffered a foot injury at practice before the team’s first preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. He’s missed a chunk of training camp, but on Wednesday head coach John Harbaugh provided an update on the center, saying that he will probably return to the practice field on Friday and participate in individual drills.

It’s great news for Linderbaum, who many have high expectations for in the Baltimore offense. He’s likely to be the team’s starting center in Week 1 against the New York Jets assuming he’s fully healthy, and should bring some stability to a position that has seen its fair share of players over the past few years for the Ravens.
