In 1998, he was appointed Director of News at 2GB and remains the youngest person to have ever held that position. GUEST 2 OVERVIEW: Dr Stuart Ballantyne, besides being a columnist for The Spectator, is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. He has a long list of awards including the ICHCA Annual Award 1996, Sea trade Award 1997 (London), Cruise and Ferry Award 2003 (London), AUSMEPA Marine Environment Award 2006 (Sydney) and the Institute of Export – Export Hero of the Year 2008 (Australia). GUEST 3 OVERVIEW: John Conroy and his wife Jess are cattle farmers at Bobinawarrah in northeast Victoria. John is spokesperson of the Meadow Creek Agricultural Community Action Group which is opposing the $750 million, 330-megawatt Meadow Creek Solar Farm.
