'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman' Co-Stars to Reunite for Holiday Movie

Seymour and Lando are finding the spark again this holiday season!

A magical reunion for the most magical time of the year.

Jane Seymour is set to share the screen once again with her Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman co-star Joe Lando in a Christmas movie airing on Lifetime later this year.

Seymour played the titular Dr. Quinn in six seasons of the series (1993 to 1998) and two TV movies (1999 and 2001) opposite Lando's Byron Sully.

Now, roughly two decades later, they will find love once again in the romantic film titled Christmas Spark, which is produced by Toni Braxton and set to air as part of the network's "It's A Wonderful Lifetime" line-up.

Seymour will play Molly, who is "recently widowed" and has "lost her zest for life and given up on ever finding love again."

The synopsis continues: "But when she decides to visit her daughter for Christmas she has no idea what holiday magic is in store for her. A former drama teacher, Molly reluctantly takes on the job of directing the town's Christmas pageant and soon finds herself falling for her leading man, Hank (Lando), the town's most eligible bachelor. As Molly and the irrepressible Hank fall in love, she rediscovers her inner free spirit and finds a new lease on life. And when the star of the pageant loses her voice moments before the show, it will be up to Molly to step into the spotlight and shine brightly for the first time in her life."

The Kominsky Method star announced the news on her Instagram Story, writing: "So excited to share this with you."

The official "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" account also shared the news, captioning the post, "A round of Santa-plause, please 👏 for these three upcoming #ItsAWonderfulLifetime movies! You don't want to miss #AChristmasSpark, Kirk Franklin's #TheNightBeforeChristmas and #MerrySwissmas. 🎄."

Christmas Spark was just one of three movies announced via press release on Sept. 1—the other two include Kirk Franklin's The Night Before Christmas, the second Lifetime film from gospel artist Kirk Franklin, who will produce and star in the holiday movie; and Merry Swissmas from Full House star Jodie Sweetin and Schitt's Creek actor Tim Rozon, which will kick off the holiday programming on Nov. 5.
