Biography

John Theobald IV was born in about 1472 at his family's home of Shepley (farm), in Seal Parish, Kent, England. He was the son of John Theobald and his wife, Joan (Nissel) Theobald. He was the 4th in a direct male line, father to son, to carry the name John Theobald (aka Theobold) in Kent.^[1]

John married Silvester Carter on June 15, 1509 at Seal Parish, Kent. They had the following children:^[2]
