'It's a dream come true!' Jessica Chastain stuns in royal blue suit as she stops by the Today show to talk about her Tony nomination for A Doll's House

Jessica Chastain looked ready for business as she arrived at the NBC studios in New York Tuesday.

The 46-year-old actress, who could get an Emmy nomination for her role at country crooner Tammy Wynette in the series George and Tammy,  arrived at the Today show to talk with host Hoda Kotb, 58, about the Best Actress Tony nomination she received for her performance in A Doll's House.

'It's a dream come true,' the actress admitted as she sat on set in a royal blue suit with high waist pants and a wide leg and matching jacket that skimmed her hips.

The Oscar winner added a simple cream toned button down blouse to the sophisticated ensemble.

'That was my dream,'  said the actress who admitted she was 'the kind of awkward kid who didn't really didn't know what to do with myself until I found the drama club in school.'

'I dreamed of living in New York. I dreamed of being here, and I did it.'

Jessica stars at Nora, a wife and mother who is forced to question everything in her highly structured life, in the drama by Henrik Ibsen.

Themes in the production include appearances, the power of money, and the place of women in a patriarchal society.

The production has received seven nominations in total, including Best Direction and Best Revival of a Play for which Jessica was nominated as a producer.

In spite of seeming calm and collected under the bright lights, the multi-talented star admitted she still suffers from stage fright.

'This play has sort of eased me away from it,' she said.

'I used to get really bad stage fright. Now, in the pre-show, I sit and I watch when they come in and I make eye contact' with members of the audience.
