Archangel Jehudiel
Jehudiel is one of the seven archangels accepted by orthodox Catholics. He is also known as Yehudiel or jegudiel….. In Hebrew it means “one who shows gratitude to God” or “praise of God”.
He is usually depicted crowned and with a whip, so he is ambiguous in character as he represents work and penance according to different traditions; others say that he is the one who hands out rewards and punishments.
It is a strong and strict energy, which helps to protect us from envy and jealousy in our relationships, it also helps us in judicial processes, in any matter related to justice.
As a patron of work, he helps us to initiate new work projects, start and finish a complicated task that requires our attention. In turn, his guidance can lead us to succeed in our businesses and improve our leadership skills. Jehudiel gives us courage to face our responsibilities and influences the people around us to fulfil theirs.

Some traditions define him as the ruler of the movement of the celestial spheres and according to Tobias, he is one of the seven archangels close to God.
Some lists in apocryphal and Gnostic texts recognise Jehudiel along with Barachiel, Sealtiel, Oriphiel, Zadkiel, and Haniel as one of the principal archangels. Gnostic Christians vary that list with Jehudiel being one of the seven along with Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel (sometimes substituted for Phanuel in various Jewish texts), Barachiel and Sealtiel.
This tradition of seven archangels has its basis in Mesopotamian traditions and in John’s statement in the New Testament that “seven angels are with God”. Different lists of seven archangels are commented on in the books of Enoch.
Traditionally it is held on 28 September in the West and on 8 November in the East.
He can also intercede when we ask for something for others and to gain self-esteem and confidence in our abilities.
One way to contact Jehudiel is through his candle with his seal and the corresponding psalm. Also through an invocation ritual on his days or on Wednesdays or Fridays during the week.
