Jeannie is the writer and executive producer of The Jim Gaffigan Show which received critical acclaim for its two seasons on TVLand.
Jeannie is known for her creative openings at the top of Jim Gaffigan’s comedy specials. She co-wrote and executive produced Beyond the Pale (2006), King Baby (2009), Mr. Universe (2012), Obsessed (2014), and Cinco (2017). Jeannie directed, co-wrote and executive produced the specials Noble Ape (2018) and Quality Time (2019). Jeannie executive produced the most recent special The Pale Tourist (2020). These specials achieved platinum sales and six Grammy nominations.
Jeannie was the story editor on the two New York Times Best Sellers, Dad is Fat and Food: A Love Story.
Jeannie’s New York Times bestselling book When Life Gives You Pears, a memoir chronicling her diagnosis, surgery and recovery from a Pear sized brain tumor, is available everywhere books are sold.
Jeannie is the director and a founding member of The Imagine Society Inc., a youth led not for profit organization.
Jeannie lives with her husband and five children in New York City.
