Scott I admittedly had low expectations but the movie won me over pretty quickly. it's hilarious and does a great job of incorporating characters from throughout the view askewniverse. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/05/19 Full Review John L A true treat for lovers of Kevin smith Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/01/19 Full Review matt The movie is for the fans of all of other Kevin Smith's movies. To anyone who rates this a one doesnt understand that it is a homage to the fans, or doesnt like Kevin Smith's movies. I laughed the entire time and there were some tender moments and some phenomenal acting by Jason Mewes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/19 Full Review Facebook U Laughs and heart all the way thru Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/19 Full Review Audience Member Saw this movie on opening night so I'm a fanboy I suppose. If your are of the fold, then this movie oozes with familiarity and will make you feel at home. I laughed my way through and enjoyed the cheap jokes and recalls to my youth. What a wonderful time I had enjoying a bit of freedom from the world at hand with my friends from the View Askewaverse. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Joseph S A little slow getting into the story and the courtroom scene was WAY too long but the jokes landed and it was a good time overall. Larushka Ivan-Zadeh Metro Newspaper (UK) Next stop, the Beavis and Butthead Reboot? Rated: 2/5 Dec 2, 2019 Full Review Ignatiy Vishnevetsky AV Club Awkward and unfunny in exceptionally long stretches, Reboot probably won't turn his diehard fans against him. But it's unlikely to win him any new converts either. For that, there's Clerks, Mallrats, or Chasing Amy. Rated: D+ Oct 17, 2019 Full Review Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com The most uninspired and unfocused load of fan service that Smith has yet unleashed on his remaining hardcore audience. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 16, 2019 Full Review Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene Rather, this is a movie about all the dick and weed jokes, but also about what happens when the past becomes a prison. Sep 10, 2021 Full Review Greg Wetherall NME (New Musical Express) Reboot is a rip-roaring romp that doesn't profess to be anything other than a lot of fun, Jay and Silent Bob-style. And that it is. Snoochie boochies, dude. Rated: 4/5 Jun 14, 2021 Full Review Anton Bitel Projected Figures Unifying not just the Askewniverse films (with an incredible array of cameos from their actors), but also the Marvel, DC and Star Wars universes, this is an odd coupling of sophisticated all-consuming postmodernism and defiantly unfunny puerility.
