Get ready for the 2024 Dulwich Olympiad held at Dulwich College (Singapore)!

The 2024 Dulwich Olympiad will take place in Singapore over the third week of March, hosted by Dulwich College (Singapore). A truly unique network-wide event celebrating students and communities across our family of schools, the Dulwich Olympiad combines a number of Sport, Drama, Music and Art competitions and activities, giving students from across the world the opportunity to meet their peers, often for the first time, learn about other cultures and the other schools in the network and to create new friendships across borders.

This year’s Olympiad will see more than 1000 participating students from across our family of schools experience five days of exciting adventures in Singapore, including visiting iconic locations including the Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, and Marina Bay Sands.

As we get excited about the upcoming Olympiad, let’s look back at the previous two iconic events in Beijing and London.

Beijing

Dulwich Olympiad 2015

The first Dulwich Olympiad took place in the vibrant city of Beijing in April 2015, where over 500 students from 8 schools converged beneath the iconic skyline for the inaugural Dulwich Olympiad. Events took place in iconic venues within the historical city, including the National Olympic Sports Centre.

Highlights:

  • Athletics, Football, Basketball and Swimming were held at the National Olympic Sports Centre Basketball stadium, constructed for the 1990 Asian Games. Three courts in the stadium saw participation from all participating Colleges in at least one of the age groups.
  • Over 200 musicians and singers took part in performances at Dulwich College Beijing and the V-Continent Hotel, with a joint performance that included John Williams’s epic Olympic Fanfare and Theme, a medley for the orchestra of music from the James Bond movies, and Christopher Tin’s Grammy Award winning classic Baba Yetu for mass choir, orchestra, and percussion.
  • The winners of the second annual Science and Art Photography Competition were displayed at the Dulwich Olympiad Gala Dinner.

London
