Connected with the main square and the City Hall by Herrenstrasse, this park is not as important but is still quite lovely place, and is less crowded.

Not much to see here, but it does serve a vital service as a transport junction. Plenty of fast food shops and seating, but i would not go out of my way to see it

Place is nothing special on itself. Is (probably) main traim station in Graz. Around is a lot of shops and for travelers that do not like to explore when food is in question - McDonalds.
But you can access direct from tuis place to Herrengasse (main street) where there is much more to see.

I got the no. 1 tram from Jakominiplatz. What a gorgeous little centre this is. Not grotty, like some other transport centres, but vibing with character and life, even on 1 November (All Souls Day). Just watch that you don't inadvertently step in front of a tram, as there's no pedestrian crossings as such to show how you get from one platform to another as everything, tracks, trams and pedestrian paths seem to morph into one.

Similar to other plazas in the area. Lots of people (this one is very busy with many trams and buses converging here), lots of shops and restaurants. Very busy, noisy, crowded.

Lively square with lots of people visiting restaurants, pubs. Nothing spectacular but nice to stop for a drink while exploring the town old center.

From the Jakominiplatz you can get your bearings, or ask a local and they will help you and you continue on your journey and get to your destination. I always use it as the center of my compass when I am in town.

One of the best places to do people watching in Graz. The Platz is a bit busy and many trains & busses are buzzing around.

You will pass here by if you travel with bus or tram. There are restaurants and shops in every direction from here so it's a good place to start your day around the city.
