Dr Jacqueline Drew is a police scholar with the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and Griffith Criminology Institute, Griffith University, Australia. Dr Drew has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, as a practitioner and researcher. She is a psychologist, holding a PhD in organisational psychology. She provides expert advice to law enforcement in Australia and across the United States on organisational systems and personnel practices, including police mental health and suicide, leadership, promotion systems and women and policing. She is currently leading two Australian Research Council (ARC) projects, an ARC Linkage project being undertaken in collaboration with the Queensland Police Service focused on employee health, wellbeing and performance and an ARC Discovery project studying gender equity across Australian and New Zealand police agencies. Her other area of research is focused on fraud and cybercrime. She led one of the first Australian cybercrime projects in an Australian police agency examining online fraud. She provides advice to law enforcement on issues related to cybercrime victimisation and conducts victimology training with police detectives.
