WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field program closed out the regular season with the Kehoe Twilight Meet on Friday, May 3. The meet was hosted by the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.
Georgetown won three events, with nine Hoyas recording top-five finishes across six events.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the men's 1500m, the Hoyas swept the podium. Owen Johnson took first place with a 3:46.14 finish, setting a new personal record. Charlie North took second (3:52.60) and Mateo Althouse took third (3:52.97).
- Sierra Dineen took first place in the women's 800m, running 2:07.52.
- Angeline Caamano also took sixth place in the 800m with a time of 2:13.87.
- Christian Dohler took first place in the triple jump, recording 14.24m.
- Robert Terell Jr. took second in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.04m, setting a new personal best.
- Barrett Justema (4:28.38) and Natalie McLean (4:31.18) took second and third, respectively, in the women's 1500m.
- Also in the 1500m, Anya Hirschfeld and Caroline Cummings finished in sixth and seventh with times of 4:35.84 and 4:36.52, respectively.
- In the men's 400m, Sean Hewitt took fifth place running a time of 49.73. Joining him is Micah McKenzie, who took seventh with a 50.31 mark.
- Matthew Payamps took seventh in the men's 800m with a mark of 1:49.52. Daniel McCarthy also took 10th with a time of 1:53.13.

The Hoyas will move into postseason action with the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships next weekend on May 10 and 11 in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
