Ivana Marburger Themmen

Educated at the New England Conservatory of music, where she met Harold Themmen, also a noted classical musician. Her Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra (1981) was one of 5 compositions considered for the Kennedy Center/Friedheim Award in Washington, DC in 1982. It was commissioned and performed by Sharon Isbin.

She had four children over her lifetime Adina, Paris, Allegra and Tania.
