The idea of this hotel is fantastic. On the Navy Pier- with a breathtaking view of lake- but it’s tucked pretty far back away from everything, especially if you want to walk the city. The view in our room was amazing. There are three bays of the hotel. We were Bay 3, which is farthest away from lobby, restaurant, parking. We opted to not have a car and took the train from Midway. It is a hike from Grand stop on the red line to the hotel if you walk. The hotel is new, clean and fresh. We had no issues as far as housekeeping. They don’t clean your room daily with Covid however we called down and they sent us up anything we needed. Regarding the bird poop on the windows- we expected this when booking the hotel and although there was some on our window, it didn’t hinder our view or would cause us to not stay here.
