The idea of this hotel is fantastic. On the Navy Pier- with a breathtaking view of lake- but it’s tucked pretty far back away from everything, especially if you want to walk the city. The view in our room was amazing. There are three bays of the hotel. We were Bay 3, which is farthest away from lobby, restaurant, parking. We opted to not have a car and took the train from Midway. It is a hike from Grand stop on the red line to the hotel if you walk. The hotel is new, clean and fresh. We had no issues as far as housekeeping. They don’t clean your room daily with Covid however we called down and they sent us up anything we needed. Regarding the bird poop on the windows- we expected this when booking the hotel and although there was some on our window, it didn’t hinder our view or would cause us to not stay here.

My brother and sister and love will have a delayed Honeymoon due to COVID; therefore, I gifted them with a room at the Sable Hotel at Navy Pier so that the could do something special and memorable to celebrate their new union. I got them a corner King room and they absolutely loved the views of Lake Michigan and the pier and the size of the room. They also couldn’t stop talking about the service and how nicely they were treated by the staff.
To put the icing on the cake, I was allowed to ship artificial rose petals to the hotel and Florence went above and beyond to decorate the bed with love hearts. Florence even gifted the couple with a nice bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate and when I let her know that the bride did not drink alcohol, she added a bottle of fruit flavored sparkling water for her. Her creativity and service was greatly appreciated.
Based on this gifting experience, I look forward to staying at the hotel myself sometime soon.
Thanks Sable Hotel with a special shout out to Florence for making this celebration of love and marriage memorable.

Wonderful hotel! The views are amazing. The hotel was clean and well run. Certainly up to Hilton standards. Room was ready when we got there and all our requests were honored. Directly on Navy Pier with lots of entertainment. Drop off is well situated in front of hotel reception. The room was extremely well appointed. Without a doubt the best stay in Chicago.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary here. The room was beautiful with corner windows, one facing the lake and one facing the skyline. The hotel gave us complimentary drink tickets to help us celebrate. We used them at breakfast the next morning in their in-house restaurant!

The location of the hotel is so awesome! We were really looking forward to a great birthday celebration for my son who turned 18 during our stay. Unfortunately the room temperature became a source of frustration for us as the air condition kept cutting off. We reported it several times but they did not fix it.

All rooms face the same direction and are located on one side of the pier. Its winter so didn't see any sunrises but you can't beat the city/water view

Thank you for your question! The East Garage is managed by Navy Pier so, unfortunately, the self-parking fee cannot be charged directly to your room bill. We also regret to inform that the self-parking fee is not inclusive of in-and-out privileges - we apologize for any inconvenience this my cause!

Yes, we have two one bedroom suites at our hotel which each sleep a maximum of 4 guests. Their rate fluctuates based on our best available rate at the time. We welcome you to contact the hotel directly to inquire about specific availability!
