Their wedding may have only been a few days ago, but Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger already have baby plans. The couple, according to a source for People, are on track to start a family of their own. The Pratt-Schwarzenegger children would join Pratt’s 6-year-old son Jack, whom the actor shares with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
“She can’t believe how much her life has changed since meeting Chris,” the source said of Schwarzenegger. “He was very clear with his intentions from the start, and she has never felt so loved and safe. They both feel so blessed to have found each other, and they can’t wait to expand their family as soon as possible.”
Though the couple were still dating when Pratt introduced Jack to Schwarzenegger, including the 6-year-old in their relationship was a huge priority for them. The trio would often partake in a ton of kid-friendly activities, such as matinee movies or trips to Disneyland. Pratt and Schwarzenegger began dating in he summer of 2018 and held their romantic, sweet wedding ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California surrounded by their close family and friends.
Both Pratt and Schwarzenegger recently took heat from their Instagram followers for calling their wedding the “best day of our lives.” Many took issue with the fact that Pratt seemed to be forgetting about the day his son was born. (Other followers pointed out that Jack was born prematurely with a slew of health complications.)
Pratt and his former wife, Faris, finalized their divorce in October of 2018, a few months after he began dating Schwarzenegger. While many fans of the A-list couple were saddened by their separation, the pair have maintained a friendly relationship and both are extremely devoted to creating a great environment for their son to grow up in.
Now that Pratt and Schwarzenegger are married, they are ready to add a baby to the picture, expanding their happy, little family.
