The 2nd lowest rated episode. The 1st is Run, Iris, Run.
Keep in mind Supergirls lowest rated episode is the next one and it hasn’t aired yet the imdb rating really mean nothing
EXACTLY. I don’t at all understand what is so difficult for people to understand about that. Ratings can just say things. Doesn’t at all mean we have to believe them. I know don’t most of the time.
Critic reviews do though right? Because the critics seem to think this episode was “blah”
Those who give reviews on IMDb are not critics.
Those people gave low ratings to Black Lightning, Black Panther, Batwoman and the female Gosthbusters movie. Make of that what you will.
Also, Girls Night Out was the previous lowest rated episode on IMDb, not Run Iris Run.
The “critic” come from off sight.
I mean i tend to trust RT more at least i know there verified
-
IMDb ratings of episodes really don't matter. For crying out loud, you have people who tell people to give an episode a low score. That goes for every show.
-
Girls Night Out is the lowest rated episode. Then Run Iris Run, which we can't really truly know. The minute bts photos came out, you have people telling others to give a low score before the episode aired.
-
IMDb ratings don't matter.
i learnt along time ago imdb ratings dont matter when i saw shitty movies getting decent scores on imdb but then getting much lower scores on other sites. a good example is christmas with the kranks has a 5.4 on imdb yet on RT the audience score is 38% and the critic score is 5%
-
I’m not saying IMDB ratings matter.
-
there is 3 critic reviews who say the episode is was “blah”. I personally didn’t enjoy it but I was surprised to see the rating was this low, even from a normie POV.
-
I understand that. This episode still wasn’t the greatest though.
plenty of stuff on IMDB get high ratings then low ratings on other sites. seriously imdb is the worst. went on RT and this episode has a 83% overall score from 6 critics. i agree it was the weakest episode of this season so far but personally i dont think it was the worst in the show or a bad episode. i think "run iris run" or "girls night out" were much worse
When your lowest rating in that many years is a 6.1, you know your show is good.
I would disagree. IMDB is more of an opinion thing. It’s the critics reviews which actually matter.
It seems that there’s two opinions. This episode was good or this episode was bad.
But sadly this sub expects YOU to say it is good even if you found it bad
I disagree. I don't think critics reviews matter much.
Fan reviews are much more important because those are the people who watch your show. Those are the people who fall in love with and get emotionally invested in the characters. Those are the people who wait on long lines at conventions just to get an autograph or a picture.
I'd always rather know what fans thought than critics. Obviously fan reviews tend to be a little "less professional" than critics reviews but we just have to be smart enough to wade through the BS.
I would worry more about how close Flash is getting to drop under 1 mil viewers. Without a doubt, the spring with be bloody for the Flash and they will settle at a 0.3 demo and under 1 mil viewers if the trend continues as it has since the midseason premiere.
I liked Run Iris Run. Don’t at all get why that was the 1st lowest. It was different and nice.
Love Is A Battlefield I could understand. But more. Liked the Barry and other Iris stuff the most and Frost with the holiday. Did not at all care for Amunet and Goldface and the story with them and what they wanted in that episode. Plus I don’t care for Goldface at all really.
While I do agree with IMDB sometimes I don’t agree with them all the time. I would give this episode at least a 6.5 or 6.6.
Idk why people keep posting IMDB‘s ratings when there not even that accurate. Sometimes there generous but sometimes episodes that they give low scores to are not accurate and should be higher sometimes. Remember these are critic scores so we don’t need to always go with what critics say. We can all have our own opinions and rating systems if we wish. Critic ratings are most of the time there for fun but in the end we all have our different opinions.
We need to remember this.
This episode also had one of the lowest amount of viewers in the shows history.
That’s even harder to believe. Why wouldn’t someone want to see Iris run around for a change? I don’t get it.
I’m talking about love is a battlefield.
But no one wants to see Iris as a superhero. The way she got Barry’s speed was cheesy & it was a filler episode. The only canon was to setup Nora’s jacket.
I liked the Barry and other Iris stuff and the Frost side story in Love Is A Battlefield. But nothing else
I liked seeing Iris as a superhero it was different to see her in that role and Barry doing her role for a change. It was something different and I like seeing something different, depending on what it is and how it is told. I was actually hoping to see her get Barry’s speed for a change. Even though how she got it wasn’t great, it was still different and I kinda liked how that happened. I mean I could just imagine that guy doing that to other meta’s which would be kinda fun to see.
I didn’t think it was filler, I thought it was the last good/interesting maybe great episode of that season till it went to crap.
I also liked how it lead to Nora’s jacket. Although I kinda think Nora got hers from somewhere else, I don’t think she wore her mother’s.
Wait, how is the #feminism episode not one of these
It’s the 3rd worst I’m pretty sure.
Last two episodes i've fallen asleep.
people downvoting just cause you have a different opinion. we should discuss instead of just downvote. I didn't like the recent episode. I did like iris in E11 though.
I have plenty of karma to go around, but eh. It is all about context. Now with Arrow gone the Flash, as a TV show, has a big mantle to hold up.
To me so far it's just not being held up. I understand theyre going for mini stories this year however that means each episode needs a massive punch. It's just not there.
You can't have filler when youre telling mini stories; short stories should be tight and concise in their telling.
My opinion has zero to do with the actors; huge fan of Grant and Candice.
My thoughts exactly. it's like they didn't care with this episode. I am excited for what's next though. "A girl named Sue" "Grodd Friended me" and "The death of the speed force" sound so interesting.
Yeah. I agree.
People actually care about IMDB ratings? Who even votes on those things?
So I just watched it on stream and came here to see what others had said.
I just thought the writing of the Amunet/Goldface plot was horrible, and the Allegra subplot was predictable and cheesy.
I actually liked the way “Iris” was presented in this episode, even though it was obvious it was fake Iris from the pancakes.
But the product placement was super annoying.
I don’t know. I hated pretty much everything about this episode except Iris - knowing as I watched that they are intentionally Mary Sueing Iris as the plot line. Which is an interesting approach.
The most boring episode of this season.
Last episode of Supergirl is on like a 6.0/10.
I haven’t watched a lot of Supergirl but I watched that episode and could not figure out why it was 6, because as far as Supergirl episodes go, it wasn’t that bad.
So I asked my brother what the hell I missed (he watched all of the show, so he would know).
He tells me it was because twitter didn’t get the weird ship-thing they wanted so it’s possible they all bombed it.
IMDB ratings are sometimes a sham, I sure hope nobody looks at these to check if episodes are good or not.
Just look at S6, only a handful are above 8.0, and these are good episodes.
Have you seen Batwoman on IMDB? That got hiroshima’d and sits at a 3.2/10.
They’re just trolls and people with no lives.
Same thing happened with Black Panther and Captain Marvel, but seeing as they are high profile, high budget movies, they recovered quite easy.
What ship, Supergirl is set on land entirely, to expect ships to show up in that show is ridiculous.
I always thought the amount of ratings as in amount of VIEWERS counted as showing a tv success not... IMDB
I never said anything about the shows success. I was speaking about how this is one of the lowest rated episodes on IMDB.
Also, viewers don’t always mean everything. Not everyone is sitting there with their eyes glued to the TV. Most people put on whatever. Fans will usually watch.
Plus the flash is losing viewers anyways.
Also, this is one of the least viewed episodes.
It's the least viewed episode in the show's history.
People who say IMDB ratings don't matter. They don't but they do show a general trend..according to me many episodes in season 2 we're better than season 1 yet, episode 15 in season 1 directed by Thor Freudenthal is the highest rated 9.7 outta 10 and even though it was good, it's just the people who rate it who have opinions... Girls night out, and run iris run are the two lowest rated episodes, and those also have some cheesy lines and bad drama like the recent episode, Amunet and Goldface's interaction after the flower burned was too cringey
It was not very good
This episode wasn’t really that bad imo, and it didn’t really get bad reviews. Only one negative review is listed on Rotten Tomatoes
Cringe, kinda boring, predictable & overly cheesy. But like i said. You either like it or dislike it. I don’t think there’s a middle ground with this episode.
Go to IMDb reviews. although many are hating iris, I feel it was less deserved this episode. the main problem was it was so boring cheesy and cliche. no great surprises except for that cliffhanger. the show is treating it's villains like actual comic book characters. and not in a good way
It was a rollercoaster, villain of the week bits were good, the rest... not so much.
We had 0 Cisco and Dibny I think.
