Ruprecht Adolf, Palatine of the Rhine, was the son of Adolf, Pfalzgraf bei Rhein and his wife Irmengard von Oettingen. He was born at Amberg on 12 May 1325[1].
He married Beatrice of Sicily between May 1345 and 1346[1]. They had the following children:
Anna (1346 – 30 November 1415), married in 1363 to William VII of Jülich, 1st Duke of Berg.
Friedrich (1347 – c. 1395).
Johann (1349 – c. 1395).
Mechthild (born 1350), married to Landgrave Sigost of Leuchtenberg.
He died at Amberg on 6 January 1398 and was buried at Schönau[1].
