1997 was a pretty damn happy time, if you ask me. The economy was booming. Life was good. Noel has had some serious miscues over the years (Let’s All Make Believe and Full On left off SOTSOG?!?) but this coulda been the absolute banger of the Summer if you ask me.

At a wedding in Donegal. Band playing shit music all night. 'Galway Girl', that fuckin 'know when to holdem' shit. Bullshit all night. Coming to the last song. I told them to play Don't Look Back In Anger. The place went fuckin mental. I love Oasis.

Does anybody not think Noel’s range changes so much from song to song, for example importance of being idle from the top of my head, he goes really high and soft points and then in songs like you know we can’t go back it’s a lower but still sounds so controlled. Guess what I’m trying to say is his voice in his Accoustic performances compared to his more rocky tunes can differ so much but doesn’t seem to get the credit for it?

" Oasis never broke America " is something that every Oasis fan has heard or debated at one point in their lives.

Only thing is that they did, the first 3 albums all went either multi platinum or platinum, yes, they did see a dip in sales during the start of the new millennium, however their albums still managed to chart well within the top 40 and DOYS even made it to the top 5, and whilst they weren’t doing Knebworth park sized gigs or selling out stadiums like they were in their native UK or anywhere else in the world , they still were consistently playing to large amphitheaters and arenas in the states.

To me, that sounds like a band that didn’t just break America, but also managed to thrive and build themselves a sizeable following.

Title. What should be included in the special edition? What items/things do you want in the box set? Mine would have to be the ”Live Forever” demo that’s been floating around for ages. I would also like to see limited alternative cover versions of DM (a special edition maybe to torrid Spotify streamers just like the Beatles 10” haha), specifically the one I included in this post. Both Liam and Noel just look cool here. I just think that we all have the regular album cover, and we just need to spicen up pur collections with a different cover, or just a slipcase of it maybe.

I would also like to have a facsimile of the original lyric sheet of LF. Would also love it if the MTV Most Wanted in 1994 be enhanced and be included on the tracklisting.

But that’s just me. What do you guys think? I assume Big Brother is checking this subreddit on the regular. Let’s give them ideas!

There’s an interview where Liam calls his vocals on definitely maybe “a bit Mickey Mouse.”

My theory is he intentionally inflicted rasp on his voice and knew he was destroying it because he was self conscious about how he sounded. I read this interview once and then someone referenced it on the live4ever pro boards. Any help is appreciated
