Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales

Institut national des langues et civilisation orientales, best known as Inalco, was founded in Paris, France, in 1795 and specializes in area and languages studies. It teaches 105 non western languages and offers full BA and MA programmes in 53 of them. At the BA level, with the exception of Arabic, Chinese and Russian (which have CEFR B1 prerequisites), all languages can be taken at a beginner's level.

In addition, Inalco offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Relations & Political Science, International Trade, Intercultural Communication, Natural Language Processing and Second Language Education.

Inalco is a French public university located in the centre of Paris, France. Some diplomas are offered online as well : Hebrew studies, Arabic Studies, Chinese Studies, as well as Burmese, Malagasy, Lithuanian, Estonian, Slovakian languages. A diploma in Islamology (with no language prerequisites) is offered on-line as well.

Fees range from 270 to 400 euros a year for on-site diplomas & degrees. 

On-Line diplomas range from 560 to 710 euros a year.
