What a great one night stay at Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. Our room was very large with plenty of counter space to accommodate all our things for the night. Our room was very easy to find after we got off the elevator. Bathroom was very clean and provided us with enough toiletries and towels.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel though the check in process was a bit hectic. Digital Keys/Check-in was not working and the front desk was overrun with people. A bit of confusion as to which rooms were actually cleaned and ready for check in.....Nykeria from the front desk was extremely helpful during a very busy Sunday afternoon and Housekeeping manager Neandraia was so sweet to my 2 children and even helped us with our belongings to our room. This HGI has a decent size pool, hot tubs, tiki bar and is just a short walking path to their private beach. We used the beach chair & umbrella service our last day and made our time on the beach even more comfortable.
Breakfast was a breeze in the morning thanks to the twin ladies working the breakfast station. Our omelets were tasty and we enjoyed being able to still pull items from the buffet, with everything individually wrapped and sanitary. We've had to ask for extra towels, extra garbage bags, and shampoos/conditioners during the trip and everyone has been extremely accommodating. Just wish the lobby restaurant was open for lunch/dinner. Would definitely return again in the future.

While we visited during the "off season" and during a time when renovations are normally being undertaken, we found the hotel clean (despite guests tracking sand inside) and the staff showing genuine appreciation for the comfort of guests. This facility did have some covered parking with two EV vehicle chargers, a heated pool with two hot tubs, and a well built wooden walkway across the sand dunes to the beach.
Danielle gave us a friendly, courteous welcome ascertaining she furnished any information we might need. Jessica also was helpful when we checked out. However, we considered Jennifer to be a "superstar" in the way she efficiently took, prepared, and served breakfast orders singlehandedly without seeming hurried and all with a smile!
While we had no problem on this stay, I have been increasingly concerned with Hilton's new method of awarding breakfast for qualified Rewards members. It would be much less confusing to return to their former method of simply providing those meals without confusing $$$ limitations. Looking at breakfast options with our stay is a major consideration (along with being pet free and smoke free) we consider when booking.

I stayed at Hilton Garden In January 7-10 and found the hotel to be located very close to grocery stores, Foley Outlet Center, various restaurants and other activities. The staff were all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were very nice, small but adequate with wet room style bathroom and a balcony. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced if needed. I do think that the hotel need to invest in tile flooring through out rooms or vinyl flooring instead of carpet since so many people have allergies.
The breakfast was okay. There was large choice of hot or cold food on offer - cereals, toast, continental or cooked breakfast. I did not use the pool area but it was very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

I called a week before arrival to have the card on file switched to my bosses card, as this was business related. Originally it was book under my personal card. I, and my boss, filled out all the appropriate authorization forms and documentation needed. I was on the phone several times with the staff to make sure this was all done correctly, to which I was assured everything was switched over. Before arriving the day of check-in I discovered my personal debit card had be charged $900. To which I called to inform the staff. They apologized and instructed me to contact my bank, they said they went on a canceled the authorizations and my money would be back in 5-7 days unless my bank could fix it. My bank said there was nothing they could do, as this was a charge from a merchant and all they could do is wait. After arriving I expressed my frustration, but proceeded to check in. I was again assured all 7 of the rooms I had booked were now under my bosses company card. I went to eat after check and my card declined at the restaurant. Upon checking my account I found that at check-in my card had been been charged several hundred dollars again, completely depleting my bank account, leaving my stranded with 500 miles away from home with no money. I was the leader of a group of 30 people staying at the hotel, so this was a major problem. I contacted the hotel and they told me there was nothing they could do, they said they thought they switched them all but still missed one. I told them this was unacceptable and they hung up on me. I managed to get some funds placed into my account to make it through the weekend, and when I checked out I asked if all the rooms were still listed under the appropriate card, to which I was guaranteed. Upon checking my balance while leaving, one of the rooms was again charged to my personal debit card for several hundred (also at a rate which was not agreed upon.) I told the front desk worker, which told me that it didn’t charge my card. I showed her my account where it showed that it was charged at that moment. This was a very frustrating experience because I called in more than enough time in advance to make sure that the appropriate arrangements had been made. Had it not been for me being able to get together a little bit of funds, I would have been completely stranded with a group of 30 people that I was the leader of. There was no attempt to rectify this situation through any form of compensation for my troubles. Which is one thing, but I would have just been happy with something to show remorse.

As a Hilton Honor Member for over 12 years it pains me to say- “This is the worse Hilton Garden Inn” The beds are uncomfortable, the air unit is outdated and difficult to control the room temperature, the elevator felt like an earthquake and extremely slow, the room keys kept deactivating, the continental breakfast was $6 a day and came with only 1 meat option (bacon), biscuits and scrambled eggs.
The bar in pool area was open and domestic beer was $5 a can. No COVID-19 protocols for staff nor the guest. The ramp access to the beach is tilted and is in need of repair. If you are familiar with the Hilton Brand and you book this hotel on familiarity- do yourself a favor and Don’t! It doesn’t meet the typical standards you have come to know with the Hilton Brand and the cost does NOT match its quality. Worse Hilton Garden Inn ever!

We are a family of 4 (teenage daughters) and recently returned from a 6 night stay at HGI OB. We have been visiting annually for the past 10 years, minus missing two trips during covid. I know there is a substantial labor shortage and also record numbers of travelers, so I was slightly hesitant that our first hotel visit since covid would be less than stellar. HGI OB proved me completely wrong. Every single employee was beyond pleasant and so hard working. The staff they have is so efficient and I can literally not praise housekeeping and maintenance enough. 10 out of 10. They are doing an outstanding job and so friendly; honestly better than we remember previous years. We also loved the new breakfast process of ordering with the host/hostess and then having everything disposable. I hope this process stays. We loved it and it seemed more efficient than years past with the traditional system. Of course, it was so delicious and the employees were working so hard the entire time snd always smiling. Our room was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The AC in the room was some of the best hotel AC we have ever had. The pool area including the bathrooms was always clean! We also liked the nice touch of complimentary water bottles in place of the water dispenser. Great touch! Thank you Hilton Garden Inn for an amazing experience for our family from start to finish. We are truly so appreciative. Until next time!

Not a Hilton!!!!
- When I traveled for work I could not stay in Hiltons
but for only pleasure trips. They lost a customer! So
most of the bath towels were grayish not white and
they were hard, not up to Hilton standards. The window
curtains were so long they were out in the floor 10
inches and dragging so it made it hard to go out on the
balcony. There were no light blocking curtains the sun
was so bright in the morning there was no sleeping in.
There was trash under the bed and dust cobwebs. Then
$10.00 a day to park is a joke. The breakfast for $10.00
would be free at the Best Western. Is this a Red Roof
inn? I had been staying at Hiltons for over 40 years but
never again. A Holiday Inn Express has better rooms
and clean towels.

comfort I expect for over $300.00 a night. I will not be
returning to any Hilton.

We arrived to a room with a “sanitized” sticker on the door-however once inside room there were crumbs on the floor . We requested fresh towels each day of our stay and it only occurred if I personally went to housekeeping to get them,even after multiple calls and placing request card on door. No housekeeping done during our entire stay. WiFi did not work unless you were in the lobby. The beds were not comfortable. The boardwalk to the beach was lopsided and needed repair. The pluses were the pool was nice, the location was convenient, and there was parking. We will likely find different accommodations next visit, Not up to Hilton standards.

This property is very well maintained and the service was great. The people working at the hotel could not have been more accommodating even with the inclement weather we encountered..the beach was easy to get to and the room was clean..absolutely no complaints..would stay there again as the location was very convenient and staff very friendly and helpful.

No. Only the hot tubs but there will be 15 people in them from the minute they open until they close. Plan on something else
When we were guests, there is no better place to enjoy your honeymoon. We especially enjoyed the early mornings on the balcony facing the beach w champagne & orange juice. Also, the sunsets are beautiful! If you call the hotel, I’m sure they’ll have a special room facing the beach. It would be worth the extra cost of the room!
