Ingeborg was born around 1277 as the daughter of king Magnus Ladulås Birgersson of Sweden and his wife Helwig vonHolstein.[1]
Ingeborg married Erik Menved and became queen of Denmark.[1] Children of Ingeborg Folkunga, Princess of Sweden and Erik VI Mendved Eriksson, King of Denmark Valdemar Eriksson Erik Eriksson Magnus Eriksson
When Erik died Ingeborg joined St. Clare's Priory in Roskilde in 1319 and died there the same year. She was buried in the Royal family grave in Ringsted.[1]
Fulkunga was a name given to a line fo Swedish rulers to separate them from other families.
