The country artist revealed that the 23rd season of the long-running talent competition show, which concluded this past Tuesday, would be his last time serving as a judge earlier this year.

Stefani spoke about her husband's decision to leave the program during an interview with Extra, where she expressed that he needed more time to spend with his loved ones.

'I don't know if people realize if he's doing two seasons a year, in between that he's touring. So he actually has two teams at the same time at a certain point, they overlap. It's a lot of brain power. It's a lot of time away from the family,' she said.

The singer added: 'He just got to a point where he just wants time at his ranch, like,  time to do the other things he loves to do.'
