It would appeal to Apple Vision Pro owners that already like RoboCop - of which there may well be a sizable overlap - and might even convince some RoboFans to splurge $4K in order to fully embrace their inner cyborg.

Alright, now I have to watch Robocop on my vision pro tomorrow.
You can't with current SDK, no camera access.
I hope they can figure out how to provide SDK access for things like this without direct camera access. I don't want to have to worry about random apps recording things I do.

There are lots of API's like that that work on video on the VP - it's just you can't get a live camera feed to apply them to, can only use on stored media.
Believe it or not the AVP is not currently capable of identification and tracking of dynamic objects in the world like that at more than 1fps, and the SDK currently does not permit access to the cameras like ARKit on iOS allows due to privacy concerns.
Thank you for your interesting answers. Perhaps it’ll be feasible with future SDKs (until then I’ll have to make do with these).
