Howard High School Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 523 reviews
My experience at Howard High School has overall been pretty positive. My freshman year was completely virtual although during the spring semester students were allowed to go into the classroom. I think they handled the lockdown very well in terms of online school. The schedules were changed so that students had an easier time adjusting and they even canceled midterms and finals which was a great relief for students. Throughout my three in personal years, I have not had a single problem with any of my teachers or other students. My teachers have been nothing but helpful and kind even when they are pushing us students to grow and learn in a manner that is appropriate for the next steps in life which will be very helpful down the road. I feel heard in this environment and accepted.
Although there were numerous ups and downs throughout my journey during my attendance at Howard High School, the community and relationships I was able to witness nourish and grow, as well as the opportunities that were provided to me, made the atmosphere a very safe and comfortable institution for me to blossom into the person that I am proud to be today. The student body is exceptionally diverse, with many clubs and activities hosted reflecting the variety of individuals present within the school. There were also many academic classes and resources available for students to have the opportunity to challenge themselves while receiving the necessary support to ensure their success.
The academics are really good and the teachers are always well qualified. The bathrooms and some of the school is kind of dirty, there's mice and cockroaches and the restrooms are usually dirty/broken inside.
