Thanks for your reply. I was unable to buy the tickets through the website when I entered the United Kingdom as my address. I then emailed the ticket hotline and have been told it is an event designed for the locals. As they got so many requests from other countries they have now stopped doing this to ensure locals could get tickets.

I was aware of the dress code and we were looking forward to the event. As you and others have mentioned there was no information to suggest we could not attend and have booked our flights and accommodation now.

Sounds outright ridiculous to me in a city with so many international companies, expats and a generally very multi-cultural citizenry. Can't you work around it by using the PayPal Express Check-Out on that Adticket site?

Unfortunately not! The website still picks up that my paypal address is UK based. Does anyone know if you get the tickets in the post and if this comes with Wristbands etc? I know some residents in Germany who may be able to help with an address
