As I posted in another thread. Those of you whom have met wrestlers, I am curious to which ones exaggerate their heights the most. It seems 2 inches of height are added on for most wrestlers for their billed height. But it's harder to tell if you are already much shorter than them.
NBA hasn't bee immune to this either I've read Michael Jordan was more like 6'4" rather than his listed 6'6" height.

HBK is not 6 feet or whatever, he is more like 5'10 and Chris Jericho is about 5'8 or 5'9

Height and weight aren't stats. And no, every sport doesn't. But I do know that the wrestling industry as a whole has been doing this for ages. At one point, Big Show was well around 450lbs, and still being billed as a 500 pounder. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Joe being billed over 300lbs when he debubted in TNA?

I think he was billed as 280 or 287 lbs. but I'm not really sure.

Peoples weights do change, Big Show's weight has went up and down over the years. I more talking in terms of height, which does not really change much. I curious if people like Shad, Mike Knox and Luke Gallows are all really 6'7"?

From my experience, you hit the nail on the head with the 2 inch rule. I met John Cena and he couldn't have been over 6'
The funniest was when I went to an ROH show and got real close to Davey Richards. I'm about 5'6 and I was looking at his forehead when he walked by. Keep in mind he was also wearing wrestling boots and I had my Chuck Taylor's on which have very little height in them. He's billed as 5'8. Of course he then wrestled an amazing/believable match with the very large Claudio Castignoli
At that same show I saw Daniel Bryan who was around my dad's height, who's about 5'9

Big Show is supposed to be 7ft. But I am guessing he is no more than 6'8" or 6'9"

Kane doesn't seem that tall at all without his lifts, remember when he was in the "hospital" for "Lita's birth" and the "doctor" was taller than him?

'Taker is only 6' 8". At the EC, HHH and Sheamus stood face to face and HHH was clearly slightly taller than Sheamus - despite Sheamus supposedly being 6' 6" and HHH 6' 3" or 6' 4".

Yeah, I've read that site a lot, but I never trust numbers 100 percent. The only way we'd really know dead-on heights is to measure the wrestlers themselves and get them to not slouch at all. That aint gonna happen. There are a lot of wrestlers not on that sight.

I think wrestling boots give about 1 or 2 inches lift in height.
Undertaker and Kane are both around 6'8" barefoot but in wrestling boots their near 6'10".
Khali is 7'1" barefoot about 7'2" in boots.
Big Show is about 6'11" barefoot 7'0" in boots.
Triple H is about 6'3" barefoot nearer 6'4" in boots
Edge is 6'3" barefoot 6'4" in boots
Orton is 6'4" barefoot 6'5" in boots
Batista 6'2" barefoot 6'3" in boots
Cena 6'0" Barefoot 6'1" in shoes
HBK 5'11" Barefoot 6'0" in boots
Jericho 5'9" barefoot 5'11" in boots

Why wouldn't they exaggerate him as well? I'm not so sure they all wear lifts. I know Kane did in the past, but lately he doesn't seem as tall. I'd think they'd bill Orton at 6'5 or more, if he's really 6'5 in his boots. His billed height is 6'4" pretty much everywhere I look.

According to Ortons recent police form on TMZ he was measured at 6'5" so that must be his real height.
