Season 2 of Dead To Me picks up immediately where the first season left off.

It starts with Jen (Applegate) and Judy (Cardellin) having to decide what to do with the body of Judy's former fiance Steve (James Marsden) which is floating in Jen's swimming pool after a shooting at the end of the season 1 finale.

And even as they try to cover up their crimes, Judy and Jen also manage to juggle parenting Jen's two sons and holding down their jobs as a real-estate agent and an assisted-living staffer.

But as season 2 unfolds, the trailer suggests, it becomes clear that someone in their suburban neighborhood knows more than they should about what's been going on and law enforcement is on their tails.
