Holly Willoughby is turning to her This Morning family more than ever as the 'Queue Gate' saga rages on.

The This Morning presenter, 41, and her co-host Phillip Schofield are continuing to feel the heat from the public after it was claimed that they skipped the line to view Queen Elizabeth lie in state.

The mother-of-three has even been reported as having called in her lawyers as the petition to see her and Phillip given the boot from the British chat show stands at 66,000 signatures and counting.

Despite viewers lobbying for Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary to take their places on the morning show, a source has said that this hasn't caused friction between the television hosts but rather has brought them all closer.

An insider has claimed that Alison and Dermot have rallied behind the presenting pair to show their support.

A source told MailOnline: 'When things started to blow up over the weekend they were in touch straight away to show their support. Alison, in particular, has spoken many times with Holly over the phone and has been a real rock.'

'Dermot and Alison, along with the rest of the senior members of the ITV team, all knew they were going to be visiting Westminster,' the insider added before noting how there was a 'real sense of shock' about how the story has blown up.

The chat show hosts have faced a litany of abuse online following the incident and several This Morning alums have also weighed in on the scandal including Fern Britton and Eamonn Holmes.

Eamonn has been particularly vocal having let rip on the whole ordeal again while chatting with his fellow GB News presenter Clare Muldoon.

Making his opinions clear, the Northern Irish broadcaster said: 'They didn't get a fast-track, they say. Lie. They say they didn't pay their respects to the body. Lie. What else were they there for? Let's just tell the truth about the whole thing.'
