- dgjohanssonRonneby, Sweden1,619 contributionsThis is the more inteesting church compared to the Saint Mary Cathedral. More decorations and more interesting things to discover. There are parking close by if you come by car and the church is free to visit. Outside, there is a public toliet to which you need a 0,50 € coin to access.Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NemoTravelerAarhus, Denmark697 contributionsThe museum is named after the founders and is located in the centre of the city. Paid parking is available next to the museum.
Collections primarily include artifacts from Egypt, Peru, and China. The Egyptian collection include mummies and also a full size Egyptian tomb.
During our visit special exhibitions included an impressive collection of watercolors. Another exhibition was on model railways, Meccano metal constructions, etc. – quite spectacular.Written July 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a wonderful space, well meeting the modern criteria that museum objects must have a space that enhances the experience of seeing them. The items themselves are very well situated at a comfortable height, and the viewer is able to get up close to most of them. The lighting is good, as are the details of the items. I had with me the catalogue from the Met in New York - where the treasures paid a visit while the museum and cathedral were being renovated, apparently the first such guide to the treasures written in English, so I was fully able to enjoy my experience. The museum is on several floors, including a lower level where you can view archaeological detailsWritten September 23, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dgjohanssonRonneby, Sweden1,619 contributionsThis cathedral has a few intersting spots which motivates a visit. The small chapel inside the cloister is a nice spot which also containes the 1000 years old rose plant, which inspire a lot of naming of things in town. Don't miss the old bronze doors. You'll have to go into the small passage to get around to the front of them. From inside the main church area, you can only see the backside.Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wanderlust docHannover, Germany62 contributionsI have been to Andreas Kirche many times. Located in the city center it is easily accessible both by public and private transportation. The church is very beautiful inside as well as outside. There is a fountain and few benches to sit and enjoy the view outside the church.Written July 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wanderlust docHannover, Germany62 contributionsI have been to this church as a part of the Rosenroute tour. Picturesque location with a Romanesque architecture. It is worthwhile to note how this church along with many others were reconstructed after being demolished during the world war bombings .Written July 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
