Its a good movie, for lifetime. meaning its highly predictible with in the first thirty minutes you know how things are going to go, further more its a lifetime movie so that almost instantly means there is going to be some kind of craziness happening. the cast did a pretty decent job. James Franco and Francois Arnaud are both great in this movie, neither of them were too over the top and they both can actually act. my complaints about this movie are this, the skanky clothes this girl wears all the time for the most part, i don't believe in most public high schools wearing a shirt with such a deep vneck that its clear there is no bra is allowed, many schools still go with show little to no skin that isn't on the arms neck or below the knees, the fact this kid is able to sneak out as often as she does even after she gets grounded and no one seems to catch on, and that the entire fiasco only takes like two to three weeks. its a bit over the top. The other issue i take i can't voice without it being kind of a spoiler, but all i can say about that is if i had a daughter or a son in this situation, cops would have been called before the crazy happens.

Good production quality, soundtrack (prince rama is amazing) and acting. Agree with the reviews about certain implausibilities, but there's enough to provide a suspension of disbelief (for instance, why weren't the police called? dad works in the same industry, maybe doesn't want to draw too much attention, also the reality is that police rarely do anything useful until after the fact). Definitely over the top, especially the brief timeline in which it takes place and the level of escalation, but in a world where a yam is president, it could happen.
