Rhonda B Very touching story with great actresses and actors. I knew nothing about the movie and it was not what I expected - but it was well done. Even though it’s a sad story, there is a good balance of laughable moments. A professional reviewer said they didn’t know of it was a drama or a comedy. Does it have to be one or the other!?! Why not a mix - like real life. I LIKED it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/21 Full Review Gregory Awesome story of friendship and love. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/21 Full Review Carl This was NOT a comedy. It was a movie that had a huge message. Billy Crystal at his finest. Hit a home run dealing with people with dementia. Everyone should see this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/21 Full Review Kathy Excellent writing, acting, directing. I've recommended this movie to all my friends. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/08/21 Full Review George T Just a great movie all round Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/21 Full Review Kenneth G C Incredible film with a wonderful story line. Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review This is more indulgent, and the more it goes on the more mawkish it unfortunately becomes. It's clearly a very personal project, but it just loses its way very badly. Sep 21, 2021 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times A film with a big heart and more zingers than actual laughs. Rated: 3/5 Sep 8, 2021 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) A glossily disingenuous piece of work. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2021 Full Review Dave Giannini InSession Film From a film perspective, it takes a master manipulator to make us feel genuine care and loss and sadly, Crystal is not even close to this level. Rated: D Feb 23, 2024 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies Crystal directs, co-writes, co-produces and stars in this well-intended yet strangely uneven dramedy. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 17, 2022 Full Review Ema Sasic Next Best Picture Though "Here Today" starts off strong with a comedic lens, there are awkward tonal shifts and overly dramatic moments throughout that will likely leave audiences wondering if they're meant to be watching a comedy, drama, or something else.
