Five months after Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz secretly tied the knot in February 2019 to make their union legal a year after they met, they married in a gorgeous more formal summer wedding on the famed Christina O yacht, which was moored off Italy’s Capri coast, on Aug. 3, 2019. The model and the Tokio Hotel guitarist, a fellow German, celebrated in traditional attire on the lavishly decorated boat with friends and family including Heidi’s kids from previous relationships and Tom’s loved ones (his twin brother and bandmate Bill Kaulitz officiated).

They do, take two! On June 29, 2019 — about two months after eloping in Las Vegas to take care of the legal side of their union — Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot again, this time in front of all their loved ones (including their parents and celebrity guests like bridesmaid Maisie Williams and groomsmen Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas) in Sarrians in southern France, then headed to their wedding reception at Château de Tourreau, E! News reported. The formal wedding took place after a week-long walkup full of parties and outings throughout France.

After about a year of dating, on June 8, 2019, actor Chris Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California (where her great-uncle, John F. Kennedy, honeymooned with wife Jackie). The bride’s parents, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, plus siblings Patrick, Christopher and Christina were in attendance, as was the groom’s 6-year-old son, Jack, from his first marriage to actress Anna Faris. Both wore Armani looks for their wedding day and shared photos on social media.

It was the biggest wedding of the ’80s! Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer married at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981. The royal couple welcomed two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, before splitting and ultimately divorcing in August 1996 — just one year before Princess Diana’s untimely death.

Zoe Kravitz quietly married actor Karl Glusman earlier in 2019, but they threw a big formal wedding for family and friends on June 29, 2019, in Paris at her father Lenny Kravitz’s house. Lots of celebrity friends were in attendance including her “Big Little Lies” co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley, plus famous pals like Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Eddie Redmayne, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson. Mom Lisa Bonet and stepdad Jason Momoa were also front and center. The day before the wedding, the couple had a rehearsal dinner at Restaurant Lapérouse, which overlooks the Eiffel Tower. A royal wedding! Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor, England, on July 17, 2020, after initially postponing their big day due to the coronavirus pandemic. Among the handful of guests were the bride’s grandparents (Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip), parents (Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York) and Edo’s young son from a previous relationship, Christopher Wolfe.

Royal wedding bells rang when Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, married Sarah Ferguson at Westminster Abbey in London on July 23, 1986. The royal pair welcomed two daughters together, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, before divorcing in 1996.

Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Levin chose August 2005 to wed in a beautiful ceremony in Amagansett, New York. The twosome welcomed a son in 2012 and a daughter in 2014.

Jimmy Kimmel married Molly McNearney, the co-head writer of his late night show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa in Ojai, California, on July 13, 2013. The pair now have two children together, Jane and Billy.

After years of on-off dating, Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock wed on a yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez, France, on July 29, 2006. Their union didn’t last long, however — the Playboy model filed for divorce four months later.

“Younger” star Hilary Duff wed NHL player Mike Comrie during an evening ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, on Aug. 14, 2010. They spilt in 2014.

Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers in Malibu on Sept. 8, 2018, after planning their wedding in just 48 hours. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cameras were on hand as then-new cast member Denise celebrated with her co-stars and her three daughters: Lola Sheen, Eloise Richards and Sam Sheen.

Rapper Snoop Dogg married his high school sweetheart, Shante Taylor, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, California, on June 14, 1997.

Music star Alicia Keys was pregnant with her first child, son Egypt, when she married producer Swizz Beatz on the French island of Corsica on July 31, 2010. The ceremony was conducted by their friend Deepak Chopra.

“Think Like A Man” actress La La Anthony and NBA player Carmelo Anthony were all smiles at their wedding at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on July 10, 2010. The couple, who are parents to son Kiyan, separated in 2017, later reconciled then split again.

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s lavish wedding took place over Memorial Day weekend in 2014. The over-the-top celebrations stretched over several days in both Paris and Florence, Italy, where the ceremony took place. Kim filed for divorce in 2021.

Kim Kardashian West loves a summer wedding! The reality TV star married her second husband, NBA player Kris Humphries, in Montecito, California, on Aug. 20, 2011. The marriage famously lasted only 72 days before Kim filed for divorce.

David Foster and Katharine McPhee tied the knot in London at the Church of Saint Yeghiche on June 28, 2019, almost a decade after they first met. The bride, who’s 35 years the music producer’s junior, wore a custom Zac Posen wedding dress and her groom wore a Stefano Ricci tux as they exchanged vows in front of 150 friends and family members. It was the actress-singer’s second marriage and David’s fifth.

Prince Albert of Monaco made Charlene Wittstock, a former Olympic swimmer for South Africa, his bride in July 2011. They had two ceremonies: a civil union on July 1, which was followed by a religious ceremony on July 2. Another royal summer wedding! Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi, the daughter of Princess Caroline of Hanover and granddaughter of actress Grace Kelly, married film producer Dimitri Rassam, the son of actress-model Carole Bouquet, in a civil ceremony at Monaco’s Prince’s Palace on June 1, 2019. Later that month on June 29, the couple wed again in a religious wedding ceremony in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France.

Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s eldest son, Louis Ducruet — who is 15th in the line of succession — married college girlfriend Marie Chevalier in two ceremonies in Monaco in late July 2019. On July 26, they couple made things legal during a civil ceremony at Prince’s Palace. Their religious ceremony took place the next day at the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, which is where his grandparents, Prince Rainier II and actress Grace Kelly, exchanged vows in 1956. Among their guests? “Vanderpump Rules” stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright became husband and wife at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky, on June 29, 2019, People magazine (which posted wedding photos) and Us Weekly confirmed. Of course, a number of their reality TV co-stars were in the wedding party — Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder and Ariana Madix were among the 12 bridesmaids, Katie Maloney-Schwartz was the matron of honor, and Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval were the joint best men. British pop star Leona Lewis married choreographer Dennis Jauch in a Tuscan vineyard in Italy on July 27, 2019. The couple — who met nearly a decade earlier when Dennis worked as a backup singer on the “X Factor” winner’s tour — got engaged in August 2018 after eight years of dating.

“Melrose Place” and “One Tree Hill” actress Daphne Zuniga married David Mleczko, who co-founded the PR company Signature Green, on June 8, 2019, at Oleana Restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The actress met her groom 12 years earlier on a blind date and they got engaged a decade later.

On July 12, 2019, country music singer Chuck Wicks married Kasi Williams — country star Jason Aldean is her brother! — at the Cabo Azul Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. People magazine posted all the pretty wedding photos.

“The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco married professional equestrian Karl Cook at his Pomponio horse ranch near San Diego on June 30, 2018. “Legally KCSQUARED 6-30-18 ❤,” the actress captioned an Instagram photo of herself kissing her new husband on their wedding day.

Former “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa married Douglas Nunes in a civil ceremony in Los Angeles in July 2018, DailyMail.com reported. Three weeks later on Aug. 4, 2018, the model and the businessman had a religious ceremony in her native Poland at Krakow’s historic Tyniec Abbey. Joanna, who walked down the aisle as an organist played Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” wore a wedding dress by Polish designer Sylwia Romaniuk for the church ceremony.

Aug. 31, 2020, was a big day for Niecy Nash: The actress-comedian married singer Jessica Betts and publicly came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in the process. “Mrs. Carol Denise Betts 💍 @jessicabettsmusic #LoveWins🌈 📸,” she captioned a photo of herself, using her legal name, and her love walking down the aisle.

“Baywatch” alum David Hasselhoff wed Welsh beauty Hayley Roberts in Puglia, Italy, on July 31, 2018, after seven years of dating.

Actor Vincent Cassel married model Tina Kunakey in their native France on Aug. 24, 2018. The bride wore a dress designed by Vera Wang.

Hilary Swank married social venture entrepreneur Philip Schneider in mid-August 2018 at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California, wearing a lace Elie Saab Couture wedding dress. Actress Mariska Hargitay served as her matron of honor while the groom’s pal, actor Misha Collins, read a poem during the nuptials.

“Strawberry Wine” singer Deana Carter married for the third time on July 6, 2018. The country singer wed Jim McPhail at the Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, Florida.

Musician Neil Young and actress-turned-activist Daryl Hannah invited about 100 guests to their wedding near San Luis Obispo, California, on Aug. 24, 2018, the New York Post reported. Neil serenaded Daryl with his song “Harvest Moon” during a near-full moon. According to People magazine, the couple actually had two summer ceremonies — the first was on Neil’s 1913 boat on July 27, 2018, in the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington State.

Actress Robin Wright and Clement Giraudet, the worldwide VIP relations manager at fashion brand Saint Laurent, tied the knot in southern France on Aug. 10, 2018.

In July 2018, Michelle Williams married singer-songwriter Phil Elverum in a super-private ceremony in the Adirondacks with just their daughters and a few friends present. “Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship,” Michelle told Vanity Fair, revealing her romance with the Mount Eerie musician for the first time. “But Phil isn’t anyone else. “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum Eliza Dushku married pro tennis player-turned-businessman Peter Palandjian on Aug. 18, 2018. The couple exchanged vows in their native Massachusetts in the courtyard of the Boston Public Library.

“Harry Potter” franchise star Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the beloved films, married Angela Jones in Italy over Memorial Day weekend in 2018. He reportedly met his bride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Florida’s Universal Studios when she worked there as an event planner.

Another “Harry Potter” movie franchise alum, Afshan Azad — who played Padma Patil — married Nabil Kazi at Symphony Hall in Birmingham, England, on Aug. 19, 2018. Among the guests at the ceremony, which she documented on Instagram, were some of her old co-stars including Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, and Katie Leung, who played Cho Chang. The couple’s Western-style nuptials followed a traditional Bangladeshi wedding ceremony that took place a week earlier.

“Saturday Night Live” comedian Beck Bennett married actress Jessy Hodges on Aug. 25, 2018, after about seven years of dating. He later shared an Instagram slideshow of wedding photos taken during their gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Dawn Ranch in Guerneville, California.

Comedy star Keegan-Michael Key married producer-director Elisa Pugliese at their New York City home on June 8, 2018. The bride wore a Prada wedding dress while the groom donned a blue Paul Smith suit for their nuptials.

Laura Prepon revealed on June 3, 2018, that she’d just married Ben Foster. The “Orange Is the New Black” star announced the nuptials on Instagram, writing “Just Married!
