Using simple text and relatable analogies, the Prince of Wales describes a planet in crisis from climate changes and shows how its inhabitants can restore harmony by observing nature’s patterns and the interdependence of plants and animals. Examples of biomimicry, such as glue produced at low temperatures, inspired by mussels that “glue” themselves to underwater structures, will interest budding environmentalists, as will the stunning color photographs, ranging from the earth viewed from outer space to a gecko smaller than a fingertip. About the Author

The Prince of Wales is the heir to the British throne. Throughout his adult life he has dedicated himself to public service, charitable causes, and using his position to make a positive difference in areas such as environmental protection, sustainable development, youth opportunity, corporate social responsibility, interfaith relations, and organic farming. He is the founder and patron of twenty not-for-profit organizations that together make up The Prince's Charities. The group is the largest multicause charitable enterprise in the United Kingdom.
