This is an inspirational book created by the Prince of Wales for young readers. Pictures and text describe the devastation that humans create on planet Earth, such as deforestation. The Prince of Wales asks readers to instead, live in harmony with nature. He describes himself as a “nature defender” and asks the children to be Defenders of Nature with him. The narrative is dry so young readers may find it boring. However the pictures, such as the slash and burn method pictures, capture the readers focus. It is an important and empowering message that the Prince of Wales gives the reader. Not only are children able to help the conservation efforts, but it is their responsibility to help.

This is a cute kids book that gives ideas of organic farming, taking care of not only just humans but the world around us.
