Hard Rock Hotel description

The Hard Rock brand oozes good times -- from its rockin’ concerts and to it's giant guitar shaped tower this new Hard Rock Hotel is gonna be epic. The original Hard Rock Hotel location was remodeled into Virgin Hotels Las Vegas which also has plenty of musical swag to enjoy in the meantime.

The vibe:

This new hotel will be state of the art and totally rock n' roll once it opens.

What we love:

The original Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas was a mecca for music fans. They had music being piped in everywhere from the casino to the restaurants to the elevators. The hotel was also covered in dozens of display cases filled with impressive music memorabilia including clothing, instruments and other belongings from famous artists. There was everything from the King of Rock 'n' Roll's jumpsuit to the King of Pop's glove.

Live music will always reign supreme at any Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Pretty much anyone who's anyone has played at the original Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas from Bon Jovi to Paul McCartney to The Killers and Linkin Park.

Insider tips:

Because the official sale of the Mirage location by the Hard Rock brand won't be finalized until later this year don't have a ton of information yet about this new Las Vegas Strip addition, but from what we do know it's gonna be legendary once complete.

This nearly 80-acre spot will be similar in appearance to the newly opened Florida resort that includes a 36-story guitar-shaped tower, a 7,000-seat casino floor, 1,200 hotel rooms, 3,000 slot machines, and a giant pool, and plenty of shops and restaurants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I had a bad experience, like all of Las Vegas Hard Rock has over priced drinks and food. Being from the San Francisco area going to Las Vegas made San Francisco like being at Walmart price wise. Pack of cigarettes $18?? Beers $11??? You would think they would have at least fair prices so one might want to come back again. The area as seen me for the last time....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from City View? Yeah right ... not I booked this room with the expectation that I'd have a city view and enjoy the gleaming lights of Vegas.... I even went and paid extra for the suite to guarentee it.... much to our surprise the city view consisted of their parking garage. That's right! We had a wonderful parking garage view for our whole stay. The floors were gross, stained and hadn't been vacuumed. Our room clearly hadn't been dusted in a while due to the near half inch thick dust on the lamps. The shower bottom was disgusting and looked as if I would get athlete's foot if I stepped into it. The beds were very firm and uncomfortable but the linens were very nice. The AC only worked half the time and even though we turned it down to 60 it stayed hot in our room. The bath tub was nice and spacious. The staff was respectful and nice. The valet the 1st night drove off before we were done grabbing our stuff out of the car and in result our large drink spilled in the back of the suv and all over our belongings the we didnt grab... that was the main entrance valet and the HRH tower valet was much more professional. We ordered room service for breakfast the 1st morning and received over cooked eggs and under cooked hashbrowns that tasted like old grease. They just had started demo when we 1st got there and are actually tearing down the hardrock just so you know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing place, Beautiful rooms great food and great location. Would love to go back again. Me and my wife stayed for 3 days, Was our first time. The casino waitresses were very polite and always around to keep your drinks flowing. I'm looking forward to to visiting again and highly recommend the Hard Rock to anyone going to Vegas .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I will never stay here again. There was bottle of waters in the room along with candies. I accidentally toched one of the earbuds that was placed on the counter & it fell. I went down to check out, I brought to hard rock hotel employee attention and no one cared even to listen. I took it down with me to show them that it was not opened. They said It's been removed, must pay. The sad part is, I even upgraded my room. I will never come back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Be Sad When It is Gone! Was sad to learn and find out that the Hard Rock Las Vegas soon will be gone! :-( Is a great Hotel and the Memorabilia encased is very cool to see. Curious as to where it will all go. The Joint is a excellent place to see a concert--very intimate and not a bad place in the house. Especially right up close to the stage! Rooms were nice as well. Will miss the Hard Rock when it is gone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much fun! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Rooms were clean quiet and gorgeous! Great view of the strip and lots to do in the hotel alone! We spent our entire first day just exploring the hotel. Didn’t get to see the pool so can’t speak to that but otherwise we had a great time! Loved the Pink Taco!! Lol

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hotel OK Hard Rock was no different than the other hotels that are on the Strip. I don’t like not having a fridge or coffee pot in the room. Vegas is not being taken care of. We had to walk almost a mile to the Strip which is not a problem. The problem is the streets are dirty. There was a day the streets were washed every nite. This is expected on Fremont street not around Vegas Strip. It’s getting just like SF and LA
