53% 19 Reviews Tomatometer 74% 50+ Ratings Audience Score Happily married Jake and Claire don't seem to have many complaints, and they seem to get more enjoyment out of Saturday nights spent binge-watching TV shows than they would partying until dawn at the hottest clubs. That all changes when a client of Jake's accounting firm -- who is also one of the world's most well-known pop stars -- decides to hide out at their house for a few days. Once he moves in, Cooper helps the couple reconnect with their younger, cooler selves, leading everyone to believe this unconventional living arrangement might just be the best thing to happen to all three of them. Audience Member Really enjoy. Part of my Tuesday eve line up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This show has grown on me. It wasn't really that good in the begining. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member i love it, very entertaining and fun to watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a very strong ensemble! There's a lot of talent, and I especially love Claire's parents. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review bryon p When I first read about this show I thought it sounded stupid and wouldn't last a day. Then I watched it. It's not deep (nor is intended to me I assume) but it VERY enjoyable. I've always liked "Baby Wayans", but The chemistry between all of actors is excellent.. I'm not sure how far they can extend the premise, but teh writers seem clever so maybe it has legs. In the meantime I look forward to the light-hearted and enjoyable show. Kelly Lawler USA Today Packed with sight gags, bad puns and lame punchlines. Some of them work, some don't, but mostly the cast sticks the landings. The series feels most natural when it focuses on the interplay between the three leads and doesn't force jokes. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 13, 2018 Full Review Trey Mangum Shadow and Act After years of providing crucial, key supporting roles on multiple comedies, in their first true lead roles on television, Wayans and Stevens West make comedy magic on-screen. Oct 2, 2018 Full Review Ben Travers indieWire Happy Together may not become an iconic sitcom, but it's already a pretty good source for happiness. Rated: B Oct 2, 2018 Full Review Malcolm Hopwood Stuff.co.nz Happy Together is probably a hit in America, but it doesn't travel well. It should go down with the ship somewhere off the coast of Hawaii. May 10, 2019 Full Review Brett White Decider Just watch the way Wayans commands Happy Together's live audience. Multi-cam's trademark wide shots capture every one of his hilariously articulated moves, making him a modern day Dick Van Dyke... Dec 26, 2018 Full Review Christopher James AwardsCircuit.com Happy Together abides by all of the typical tropes one expects from these types of shows. This includes the groans that accompany almost all the punchlines. Rated: 2/4 Oct 30, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
