Pretty decent
haroot_azarian19 December 2022
This was another pretty decent LMN movie. The plot was very plausible. All cast performed well. The only thing that bothered me was Pete's voice which was very deep and moreover monotoneous. Otherwise the story was good. I thought. I thought Erinn Fredin was very good in the lead role, and Alexis Allotta did a pretty decent job as the antagonist. She did not over or under do her role.

All in all I enjoyed it, and recommend it. I do not usually give star ratings for LMN movies but on the odd occasion I do. This one gets an eight from me.

I thought the beginning and the ending of the movie was cleverly done. I won't spoil anything for those who have not watched it yet.

Good Movie

Good movie, if you like the LMN format which I do. Sound was mixed to make Faith muffled, maybe trying for sultry but I could not understand her. Thought at one point she had a foreign accent or speech defect. At the end she was clear. I'm gonna say a sound mixing problem. But I'm old and don't hear that well.

Not bad, not good

The story wasn't too bad, but I didn't like the actors at all! Especially the one who played Faith! And also the leading man! The other woman did ok. She was the best of them all. So, one can watch it once, but it's not the greatest lifetime movie I've ever seen! There are better ones!

Ok movie but bad casting
kpemma-9942216 July 2022
Movie was ok. I wasn't sold on the actors. The husband looks like a squeaky clean guy who has a hard time getting any woman let alone having an affair. The slut/psycho one night Stand creeped me out with her face and the looks she made with her mouth and eyes. She looks like a bird. Anyway, I guess it fit her role well. The wife was made frumpy on purpose while the crazy bit*ch flaunted her body like a stripper on a Friday night. The Asian friend was semi normal out of all of them. The storyline js good but the casting could w been a lot better.

You Get What You Pay For!
lavatch15 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Pete Wynn and his girlfriend Laura are a nice couple who have been putting off their wedding. At one point, they hit a rough patch for a few days, but now Pete finally agrees to set a date. Laura enters a contest, and to her great delight, she wins a free wedding planned by Faith, who has a sterling reputation. It turns out, however, that there are very few free lunches in life, and a lesson to be learned here is that you get what you pay for.

On the weekend when Pete and Laura took some time off from their relationship, Pete stumbled into a tryst that he has long forgotten. But the woman, who hasn't forgotten it, is Faith. The wedding contest was rigged, and Faith now sets her sights on reclaiming her man and destroying Laura's life in the process.

There were not very good communications from Pete, who should have instantly turned down the free wedding opportunity and confessed the truth to Laura. After multiple blackmail threats and harassment from Faith, Pete finally tells the truth. Laura has been keeping secrets from Pete as well, and, after a showdown with Faith, the couple finally seems to be in a healthy space that may inspire trust.

The ending of the film was less than satisfactory, as we never learned what happened to Faith. At the first anniversary of the marriage of Pete and Laura, a bizarre burial ritual occurs in which they were seeking to bury skeletons from their closet. This macabre ending clashed with the upbeat outdoor wedding and the impression that the air had been cleared between these two nice people. The ironic film title "Happily Never After" along with the late-night shenanigans do not portend a bright future for Mr. And Mrs. Wynn.

Amazing thriller
hadleyjordan11 June 2022
Such a fun movie with a lot of twists and turns. Wonderful performances from all of the actors, especially Alexis Allotta as Faith! She was as chilling as she is beautiful! Erinn Fredin was so amazing in her role as Laura as well. All around great film, really well produced and thought out. Watch this thriller, you won't regret it!

Loved It - Great Plot

Warning: Spoilers
I was pleasantly surprised by this film. In the earliest scenes I noticed above average production values, thoughtful dialogue, & very good acting.

I liked Erinn Fredin's performance as the main character Laura. She was very naive and easily swayed, but still likeable. Alexis Allotta did a good job as Faith - over the top but not too much - she kept it reigned in enough to be just realistic.

Franchesca Fojas was delightful as Antonia. I could watch a whole movie with her as the star.

The character of Pete Wynn (played by Rich Holton) wasn't my favourite, but I warmed up to him. I never understand the casting of men for these lead roles. They're always so clean cut & dull, with the most boring hairstyles. Are we supposed to believe the wedding planner really became obsessed with THAT guy? Like, why??

It was refreshing that the film was kept more realistic in that there weren't any gratuitous murders for a change. I also liked the little teasing plot twist at the start & end of the film.

Overall, it was a really enjoyable little thriller.
