MAPLEWOOD, Minn. — The Gustavus men's golf team sent a squad to the Augsburg Spring Invitational Saturday and Sunday, and sit in fifth as a team after day one of competition in an all-MIAC field. The Gusties shot a 314 (+26) at Keller Golf Course.
Tommy Hiniker is leading the Gustie group, tied for eighth with a three-over 75.
Caleb McBee,
Cole Paulson, and
Tomas Rohrborn are all tied for 12th, each with a 77 through round one.
Wyatt Carlson and
Cameron Longie are both tied for 28th with an 81 after Saturday's round, while
Khrystjan Petersen is rounding out the group with an 84, tied for 39th.
Carleton leads the invite, carding a three-over 291, with Bethel's Jack Wellen and the Knights' Ryan Choi tied for first with a 70 (-2) heading into the final day of competition.
