Join Our Library Board!

Interested in making a difference in your community? Serving on the Cumberland Regional Library Board is a great way to get involved.

We are currently seeking applications for a Community Board Member. This individual will have a passion for public libraries and their contribution to the community.

They will bring a lived experience in diversity, equity, or inclusion, and foster productive discussion to move the library forward in Cumberland County.

Those interested should apply with a resume and cover letter expressing interest and outlining pertinent experience and qualifications.

The Community Board member will sit for a term of 2 years with an option to renew for an additional 2 years.

This would not be possible without the dedication of our Municipal and Town Councilors, Mayors David Kogon, Murray Scott, and Greg Henley, and the countless members of their staff. They have shown that Cumberland County deserves sustainable and affordable core library services in the region.

We are working diligently to restore hours at all of our locations, and will let everyone know when hours are back to normal.

For each $25 donation, you will receive a bookplate that will be printed with your name and placed in a new Cumberland Public Libraries book.
