    Jose Angel Lara is an educational school leader with over 25 years of leadership experience consisting of 8 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army, 9 years of corporate experience as a financial advisor and compliance officer, and twelve years as an educational leader. As an educator, Mr. Lara’s leadership experience spans from primary to secondary school, including

    Career and Technology experience, as well as international high school experience in China. Currently, he has been appointed as the principal of Green B. Trimble Tech High School, a legacy high school of the Fort Worth Independent School District.

    Mr. Lara is the former principal of Miller Language Academy at Lake Worth Independent School District where he successfully reopened the school during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked to move the campus out of Improvement Required status. Previously, he served as the Director of Alternative Education at the Keller Independent School District where he improved upon the alternative education program, resulting in a 200% graduation rate increase. Prior to that, he was the first international principal of the Rugao International Academy by way of the Beijing Foreign Studies University in China. As an international principal, he was a critical member of a team, tasked with obtaining academic accreditation from the Chinese Department of Education for the newly established international K-12 academy. He also worked closely with the Beijing Foreign Studies University Department of Education in successfully obtaining approval and accreditation for the secondary school A Levels curriculum from Cambridge University.

    Mr. Lara’s additional educational experience consists of being a school administrator with the Crowley ISD and Dallas ISD. At Crowley ISD, he served as a principal of an intermediate campus, principal of the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program, and as the Dean of Students at the district's Career and Technology Center. At Dallas ISD, he was a high school assistant principal at L.G. Pinkston High School.

  • Ms. Deonda Wilson- 12th Grade Principal

    Deonda Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s in Education from Stephen F. Austin University, and her Administrative certificate from The University of Texas at Arlington.  Ms. Wilson has been with Fort Worth ISD since 1999.

  • Mr.Brandon Rogers

    Assistant Principal, Brandon Rogers (11th- Juniors, Math, Specialized Education)  817.815.2516

    Mr. Rogers is a proud native of Fort Worth, Texas and a product of Fort Worth ISD. From 2021-2023, he served as an Assistant Principal for six nationally ranked high schools housed on the campus of Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center in Dallas ISD. Prior to his role as a campus administrator, Mr. Rogers served as a Transition Specialist for six years at a Fort Worth ISD high school where he developed and coordinated graduation plans for high school students with special needs. Mr. Rogers taught in Fort Worth ISD for six years as a math inclusion teacher, ELAR inclusion teacher, and head track coach on two middle school campuses.

    Mr. Rogers earned his master’s degree from Texas Christian University in Education Administration and obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas, Denton campus. He is currently in the final year of obtaining a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University.

  • Mrs.Urbani

    Robyn Urbani  was born and raised in Fort Worth and is a graduate of Fort Worth ISD. Before entering in administration, Mrs. Urbani was a FWISD Career and Technical Education teacher for 12 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree from Texas Tech University. She continued her education receiving a Master of Education from Lamar University. Mrs. Urbani stays busy chasing her son around as well as spending time with her family and being involved in the Fort Worth community. When (and if) she has some spare time, Mrs. Urbani enjoys shopping, decorating, cooking and volunteering.

  • Mrs.Johnson

    Mrs. Johnson is our newest administrator at Trimble Tech High School. She attended Western Hills from kindergarten to third grade and completed the rest of her education in Weatherford ISD.  Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University. She also attended Sul Ross University to obtain her Masters in Educational Leadership. She has been in Education for 8 years, and with FWISD (Fort Worth Independent School District) since 2018. When I am not at Trimble Tech you can find me enjoying the outdoors, coaching my son's soccer team, or reading a book. As a lifelong learner, my goal is to always inspire EVERY student, and continue to grow as a leader.
