Britney Spears – Greatest Hits: My Prerogative

This is a really good press! I have every single Britney Spears album on Vinyl. My Baby One More Time is a limited picture disc vinyl (obviously has the surface noise) and the rest are UO Presses (the color splatter) but I missed this press, so I grabbed the black vinyl press.

It has very little to no surface noise, and for it being a compilation (where the Mix’s are different) it sounds amazing! Would recommend this press for the best sound quality. But I haven’t heard the color presses, from what I heard they’re okay but not as good as this press?

Sound quality is a bit cleaner than the first UO edition. Just as loud and punchy, but a clearer sound overall with no surface noise after a deep clean. Get this one while its still in stock should you not have this compilation on vinyl yet, was specifically mastered for wax!

This greatest hits LP sounds way better than the other Britney releases I've bought from this year. (Blackout and In The Zone) Havent heard the latest BRITNEY or CIRCUS pressings for comparisons.

Such a clear, punchy sound! Love it so much! No pops, no skips! Those represses are incredible.

Sound quality is amazing! Do Somethin', My Pergoative and I've Just Begun sound so much more rich and dynamic than on digital and CD, I'm hearing details in them I never have before!

The remixes are also very well selected and sound incredible. I'm glad someone seems to have taken care of this pressing. It deserves it.

Does it come with printed inner sleeves, or generic paper white ones??

I definitely didn't have any issues with surface noise, but I was a bit disappointed with the sound quality overall. I haven't heard any other vinyl releases of this one, but it sounds hollow, for lack of a better term. Makes me think it wasn't remastered for vinyl. I also feel like the remixes were added to fill out the space of a double LP. Even if they were relegated to the last side only, it would have been better. That way I could listen to sides A, B, & C without that unnecessary Toxic remix at the end.

My copy sounds great! Something about Britney’s album on black vinyl hits different than the coloured lps, (visually I mean, not audio wise because at the end of the day the plastic they use is the same black or coloured)

How is it that this Urban Outfitters exclusive is now currently available on Amazon and Walmart?! It coincides with the reissue of Britney's entire album catalog. Did someone find some boxes and sold off as dead stock to these mega store giants?

Sounds great! Plays loud and clear with no surface noise or other issues. I had a much better experience with this pressing than Britney Spears - Greatest Hits: My Prerogative - my copy of the grey vinyl was full of surface noise.
