Among her many roles, Gaunt portrayed Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). Followed by Jessica Fuller in The Face of an Angel (2014), Hermione Twizzle in The Last Dragonslayer (2016), Issi in Kids in Love(2016), Chrissie in Dusty and me (2016), Paula in Life in Black (2017), and Miss Teignmouth in The Mercy (2018), among others. 

Her television experience entails appearances on shows like Heartbeat (2004) as Viviene Middleton, Lost in Austen (2008) as Georgiana, Land Girls (2009) as Susan Sykes, Father Brown (2015) as Young Evelyn, and C.B Strike (2017) as Tricia. Furthermore, she played the role of Wilhelmina' Willow' Moreno for 25 episodes on The Royals from 2015 to 2018. Then, she was Princess Isabella on Knightfall (2019) for eight episodes. And, also appeared in the 2021 movie Soft Voice.

Gaunt's mother is the British actress Fiona Gaunt. Fiona Gaunt was born on 25 May 1947 in Lebanon as Fiona Elizabeth Buntin Gaunt. She is known for Moonbase 3 (1973), War & Peace (1972), and A Horseman Riding By (1978). Whereas her father is the Dutch actor Frederik de Groot. Frederik de Groot was born on 23 May 1946, in the Netherlands, as Frederik Percy de Groot. He is an actor and writer best known for Bureau Kruislaan (1992), De Fabriek (1981), and Unit 13 (1996). 

Gaunt's parents got divorced, after which her mother Fiona Gaunt got married to Marja Bakker. Furthermore, she grew up with two siblings, Elin and Oliver.
