J.J. and T.C. is the 18th episode of Season 6  of Good Times, and also the 127th series episode overall. Written as a teleplay by Mark Fink and Wayne Kline, the episode, which was directed by Gerren Keith, premiered on CBS-TV; it originally aired on June 20, 1979.

Synopsis[]

Bookman's assistant, a tomboyish girl named T.C., develops a crush on J.J.. She resorts to dangerous and drastic measures to try to get him to see her as a woman.

Storyline[]

J.J. (Jimmie Walker) has always regarded landlord Bookman's assistant T.C. (Ronalda Douglas) to be "one of the guys." But despite her tomboyish behavior, T.C. has the same yearnings as any young girl, and she hopes against hope that J.J. will invite her to an upcoming dance. This little drama will not be resolved until an eye-opening incident in a neighborhood "singles" bar.
