Golden West College Reviews

I was first very worried to go to the new environment and meet new people. The first experience that I had at Golden West College was at the orientation for new students. Every staff were very friendly and kind, and the school also organized all the activities in a very logical way. After spending one semester at Golden West College, I feel extremely happy that I chose this school to study. All of my teachers were wonderful, they were all willing to help me anytime. As an international student, I was struggling with language barrier but everyone at Golden West College were all patient and kind to me, which made me feel like it was my second home.
I have found Golden West to be a breath of fresh air for me personally. I think that because the campus is more closed off than OCC, less people end up coming on unless they are students. I also think that because it is smaller, it promotes more of a communal vibe. I find friends easier here, and the campus is beautiful. Something that I (stereotypically) would not have expected from a community college. I have completed most of my chemistry sequence there, both General Chemistry and Advanced. I have found the labs to be absolutely incredible and very easy to work in. I also have had no issues with the professors, and my college counselors have helped so much. I love attending classes here and highly recommend it to anyone.
Its a lovely school where you can tell the professors do care for you and your education. Many potential activities and clubs you can join.
